Please note that the following does not apply to any of the assignments which are delivered inside companies and for which the cancellation policy agreed upon in the contract prevails. The following only applies to courses which are directly organised and coordinated by Hofstede Insights HQ.

Open course Cancellation policy 

Open courses (ambassador, lecturer and attache)

Cancellation notice should be sent by email to info@hofstede-insights.com

  • Cancellation received up to 20 days prior to the start of the course are eligible for a full refund of the balance payment.
  • Cancellation received from 19 days to 14 days prior to the start of the course are eligible for a 50% refund of the balance payment.
  • Cancellation received later than 13 days prior to the start of the course are not eligible for the refund of any fees.

We reserve the right to cancel a training up to 2 weeks prior to the first day of the training. We, however, strive to inform participants as soon as information is available. If a training is cancelled by HQ, the participant is eligible for a full refund of the training fee (this does not include airfare or any other associated costs).

Certification Course (Practitioner) 

Registration

Practitioner courses include a large quantity of pre-course work and/or pre-course webinar. We recommend registering at the latest 30 days before the course starts.

Cancellation

  • Cancellation received up to 30 days prior to the start of the certification course are eligible for a full refund of the balance payment.
  • Cancellation received from 29 days to 14 days prior to the start of the certification course are eligible for a 50% refund of the balance payment.
  • Cancellation received later than 13 days prior to the start of the certification course are not eligible for the refund of any fees.

 

Transfer registration to another course

The Participants in the Practitioner course have the possibility to transfer their registration to another course free of charge up to  42 days before the course starts. After that following policy applies:

  • Transfer request received 41 to 30 days prior to the start of the certification course is eligible for a 95% refund of the balance payment.
  • Transfer request from 29 days to 14 days prior to the start of the certification course is eligible for a 50% refund of the balance payment.
  • Transfer request later than 13 days prior to the start of the certification course is not eligible for the refund of any fees.
