Valerie Servant

Valérie Servant holds two post-graduate degrees, one in service quality (a DESS in Quality management) and one in human resources (a DESS in Human Resources Management). She started her professional life working as a consultant for one of the major Paris firms specialized in service quality management, MSR – the Courtaud group, where she was the director of the services division. Her clients included Club Med, Haägen Dazs, Ralph Lauren, Bouygues Telecom and many more.

She then worked for two years as the director of a nautical tourism company, “Les passagers du vent”, located in the West Indies. In 1998 she started her own consulting firm, providing assistance to companies regardless of their size or area of activity, for the purpose of optimizing their customer relations and increasing the effectiveness of their work teams. Valérie developed several tools such as for example on internal motivation and on team cohesion, which are all her registered trademarks. These tools provide insight on issues that pose problems within companies on a regular basis.

Her daily experience has shown the increasing need for companies to get help in the field of intercultural issues. To be able to provide her clients with insight on cultural matters Valérie joined Hofstede Insights.

Her international experience has taken her to many French speaking countries such as Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Canada, Tunisia, Morocco, French West Indies… (she has already managed more than 50 missions, training and consultancy, in these countries for several clients).

Valérie speaks next to her mother tongue, fluent English and is sufficient in Spanish.
