Our intensive blended learning programme is designed for consultants and managers interested in using our know-how in the field of culture and management. Please note that you can only participate if and when you also want to become a member of the Hofstede Insights Network.

The Intercultural Management programme consists of seven parts:

  • Self-paced sessions including readings, Culture Compass, and E-Learning
  • Virtual live sessions led by Senior Hofstede Insights Consultants spreading across multiple continents
  • Group assignments and peer learning sessions
  • Network opportunities with our 150+ consultants and your peers
  • Six coaching sessions targeted to your needs in the areas of personal branding, sales, and training development
  • Face-to-face session
  • Observation and feedback

Description

THE CONTENT OF THE VIRTUAL PROGRAMME
To facilitate effective knowledge transfer, as a prospective Hofstede Insights Associate Partner, you need to challenge your own knowledge. This Certification will support you in the process of understanding the 6-D Model of National Culture as well as provide you with tools to leverage knowledge and practical resources.

This dedicated online learning includes:

Self-paced learning

Virtual instructor-led Sessions

  • Experiential learning facilitated by a Master Trainer
  • Interactive tasks developed for problem-solving
  • Synergy building activities including breakout sessions

Face-to-Face Session

  • Get to know your Hofstede Insights peers
  • Finish the last part of the training in Helsinki

Post-course assignments
The goal of the post-course assignments is to ensure your continuous development as a Hofstede Insights consultant.

  • During six coaching sessions, you will work together with your assigned coach on improvement points suggested by our learning specialists. You will observe a member of the network during a training programme.
  • You will be observed by a member of the network during a complete first project, including the acquisition of an assignment, the preparation and the delivery.
  • Your Coach will then evaluate your first delivery. The minimal grade to obtain the final certification is 4 (scale 1-5).

  • Virtual Course binder with reading materials, case studies and exercises
  • Access to our intranet, which contains a wealth of information
  • First-year membership fee of Hofstede Insights, including access to the yearly conference on intercultural management
  • In addition to the course fee, you will need to agree to our license terms

Only a very select group of people can participate in this course, which only takes place twice a year. The demand for this course is very high and places are limited.
