As a former Workplace Strategy Director for global real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), John's expertise lies in the intersection of design, business and space to drive individual behavioural change and facilitate complex business transformation. He has worked full-time in various countries as a designated consultant for multinationals such as Hugo Boss, SAP, The Walt Disney Company, and Steelcase in global roles, where he has worked to elicit user needs and requirements through a systematic, structured, and creative user experience (UX) process, as well as managed interdisciplinary projects and engagements. He has led strategic projects as well as focused on high-impact branding, design, and space operations projects from inception to completion.

He joined Hofstede Insights to add the cultural dimension to his expertise and to complete his solutions to complex and ambiguous business issues. John is Associate Partner and certified in Intercultural Management (ICM) and Organizational Culture (OC).

John is a frequent keynote speaker on the subject of Future of Work and Executive member at the global non-profit association Design at Business. He holds two postgraduate degrees in Business Administration, Intercultural Communication, Sinology and a Masters in Design Strategies, emphasizing the value of design as a strategic asset in corporate strategies.
