Kirk is a specialist in family and human systems, such as culture. Having worked for more than 20 years as a licensed professional counselor, he has extensive experience helping individuals and families uncover and address systems-based issues to live fuller, more meaningful lives. Now, as an Associated Practitioner for Hofstede Insights (now The Culture Factor Group) and Co-Founder of Hofstede Insights USA (now The Culture Factor USA), he brings these insights to the systems of culture to assist clients as they look to better understand one another and function more effectively on cross-cultural teams. Kirk has a Bachelor's Degree in French, a Master's Degree in Psychology and has lived in Germany.

 

Kirk is a native of the United States, but he has lived in Germany and speaks four languages. He and his wife, Lisa, have traveled extensively and enjoy the challenge of learning new cultures and languages. When not working, Kirk enjoys many interests including running his small farm, backpacking, mountain climbing, running and playing the piano.
