As a well seasoned professional consultant, Susan has led various teams in the successful delivery of many software solutions for banks, US Federal Government - Internal Revenue Services (IRS), Department of Transportation (DOT), private entrepreneur businesses and membership organizations – AARP, American Psychological Association (APA), and American Chemical Society (ACS).


Susan is the founder of Transmitio LLC, a firm that is focused on delivering solutions in data governance, cultural transformation and management of Information Technology initiatives. Susan has over seventeen (17) years experience managing a wide range information technology transformation initiatives. Susan’s professional experience encompasses Information Technology, Banking, Customer Success management, Cross-Cultural team management and Strategic leadership experience locally and internationally. Susan has strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.


Susan holds a M.Sc degree in Software Systems from University of St. Thomas, MN, and B.Sc degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration from University of Sioux Falls, SD. Susan also has a Knowledge Management professional certificate from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Susan is a certified culture consultant in Organizational Culture, Intercultural Management and Cultural Adaptability Profile assessment. In this role, she delivers culture training and workshops facilitations throughout the United States and internationally.


Susan is also an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), maintaining memberships with the PMI Southern Maryland (USA) chapter and the PMI Kenya chapter. She serves on the Board of the PMI Southern Maryland chapter and is a Board member and ICT chair at the Kenya North America Diaspora SACCO (KNAD SACCO), the largest diaspora SACCO in Kenya with over 1300 members in the USA, Canada and Mexico.


Susan is also a speaker. She presented at the 2023 PMI Africa Conference held in Kenya. Her presentation was on Leadership and Culture in Project Management. Susan has also presented several webinars on Organizational Culture to several PMI chapters in Africa.


Susan is sensitive to the importance of educating and supporting women and girls in education and she supports girls' education primarily in Kenya by donating and mentoring students at St. Teresa’s Girls school in Nyeri, Kenya, as well as supporting the building of libraries wherever there are opportunities through sourcing and donating books.
