Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to open courses organised by Hofstede Insights Oy (The Culture Factor Group) directly. For courses organised inside organisations different terms and conditions might apply.

Open Courses/Open Programme Cancellation policy

(for instance Introduction to Cross-Cultural Management excluding certification)

The start of a programme or certification is the day the first meeting is scheduled to take place live or virtual.

Cancellation notice should be sent by email to info@theculturefactor.com.

  • Cancellations received up to 20 days prior to the start of the course are eligible for a full refund of the balance payment.

  • Cancellations received from 19 days to 14 days prior to the start of the course are eligible for a 50% refund of the balance payment.

  • Cancellations received later than 13 days prior to the start of the course are not eligible for the refund of any fees.

We reserve the right to cancel a course/programme up to 2 weeks prior to the first day of the course/programme. We, however, strive to inform participants as soon as information is available.

If a programme is cancelled by The Culture Factor Group, the participant is eligible for a full refund of the training fee (this does not include airfare or any other associated costs).

Transfer registration to another course

The Participants in the open course and programmes have the possibility to transfer their registration to another course before the course starts, the transfer fee is 50 euros payable by credit card.

Certification programme

Applies to the Certification programme in Intercultural Management and Organisational Culture

The start of a programme or certification is the day the first meeting is scheduled to take place live or virtual.

Registration

Practitioner courses include a large quantity of pre-course work and/or pre-course webinars. We recommend registering at the latest 30 days before the course starts.

Cancellation

  • Cancellation notice should be sent by email to info@theculturefactor.com

  • Cancellations received up to 30 days prior to the start of the certification course are eligible for a full refund of the balance payment excluding tax.

  • Cancellations received from 29 days to 14 days prior to the start of the certification course are eligible for a 50% refund of the balance payment excluding tax.

  • Cancellations received later than 13 days prior to the start of the certification course are not eligible for the refund of any fees excluding tax.

Transfer registration to another course

The Participants in the Practitioner course have the possibility to transfer their registration to another course free of charge up to 42 days before the course starts.

After that following policy applies:

  • Transfer request received 41 to 30 days prior to the start of the certification course is eligible for a 95% refund of the balance payment.

  • Transfer request from 29 days to 14 days prior to the start of the certification course is eligible for a 50% refund of the balance payment.

  • Transfer request later than 13 days prior to the start of the certification course is not eligible for the refund of any fees.

We reserve the right to cancel a course up to 1 week prior to the first day of the course. We, however, strive to inform participants as soon as information is available. If a course is cancelled by HQ, the participant is eligible for a full refund of the training fee (this does not include airfare or any other associated costs).

SPLIT PAYMENT

Split payment is available for selected programmes. A 100€ administration fee will be charged for each additional invoice.
